00:00 "First of all, for the Senate hearings, of course, we respect the position of the Senate,
00:09 but for me, if it's not helping the country, why are we wasting time?
00:16 We saw that the PDEA issued a statement, they discredited the document, they said it's not
00:23 true.
00:24 And then, the credibility of the witness was questionable.
00:30 So, for me, if that's the case, then that's the case.
00:33 Why are we not paying more attention?
00:35 Why don't we focus our efforts, our resources, in more important matters such as the Rice
00:42 Tarification Law, amending it.
00:45 Why don't we focus our attention in going against those price manipulators, those hoarders,
00:52 those scrupulous businessmen behind the increase in rising prices that are making the lives
00:58 of every Filipino poor?
00:59 Why don't we focus on the problems that our country is facing, which are more related
01:06 to the rising rate of our countrymen's lives?
01:10 So for me, this is a mere political circus.
01:15 I think this is part of a bigger, orchestrated, destabilization movement against the Marcos
01:23 administration.
01:25 And I do hope and I pray to our colleagues in the Senate, now let's focus on issues that
01:35 have more national significance to the lives of the Filipino people.
01:38 Thank you.
