00:00This has been off-discussed. There's no way to tell exactly when the plane could land on this,
00:10but it seems like there's enough there to think that this may happen sooner rather than later. Do
00:16you agree? Maybe. I'm not so certain. I'm wondering where is this information coming from? Why is it
00:24coming out right now? We know that there's a very important case, House v NCAA, where a class
00:30of athletes has been certified, and we've heard rumors that the amount of damages can be in excess
00:35of four billion dollars. So there is an incentive for the NCAA to settle, but I look at the language
00:41that's been put out by Pete Thamel and others, which is that part of this settlement could
00:46create an ecosystem where there's revenue sharing, and I wonder why is a settlement even needed if
00:52the NCAA and the respective schools want to go in that direction? So is this more of a play by
00:57certain athletic directors and presidents? Is it plaintiff's counsel who wants a big score before
01:03having to go to trial? I always get a little bit skeptical when I start hearing about what
01:08are supposed to be confidential settlement communications getting out there for public
01:12purview.
