Bella Hadid Gets Real About Life In Texas After Stepping Back From Modeling

00:00Bella Hadid is shedding some light on her new life in Texas.

00:03The supermodel, who just launched her own fragrance line, spoke to Allure about her

00:07new venture and reflected on her recent time away from the runway.

00:10She told the magazine,

00:11After 10 years of modeling, I realized I was putting so much energy and love and effort

00:15into something that, in the long run, wasn't necessarily giving it back to me.

00:19As she stepped back from the modeling world, she's dived into a new chapter in Fort Worth,

00:23Texas, and has shared peeks at her laid-back life in the Lone Star State on Instagram.

00:27She told Allure of her low-maintenance beauty routine these days,

00:30Just as I have styled myself for years now, which I still do, I love being able to do

00:34my own hair and makeup, be happy with how I look, and get ready with my girlfriends

00:38here in Texas.

00:39We have the best time, and I never feel like I need to do too much.

00:42She added of her headspace in her current chapter of life,

00:44For the first time now, I'm not putting on a fake face.

00:47If I don't feel good, I won't go.

00:49If I don't feel good, I take time for myself, and I've never had the opportunity to do

00:53that or say that before.

00:54Now when anybody sees me in pictures and they say I look happy, I genuinely am.

00:59I am feeling better.

01:00My bad days now were my old good days.

01:02In Texas, Bella has leaned into her passion for horses and even competed in an amateur

01:06cutting horse competition.

01:08She's also loving life with her boyfriend, horseman Adan Benuelos.

01:12Just last month, they were photographed out at the American Performance Horseman in Arlington,

01:16Texas, with Bella smiling and gazing into Adan's eyes as she held his face.

01:20She also posted a clip of her cheering on Adan on Instagram, as well as selfies from

01:23the night, with the caption,

01:25Leader of the fan club.

01:26Bella and Adan were first romantically linked in the fall, and he attended her 27th birthday

01:30party that October.

01:31The model shared throwback snaps with him from the event earlier this year, including

01:35one of her resting hand on his leg, and in a quick video clip, he grabbed her hand as

01:39she leaned in for a kiss.
