00:00 So today we are celebrating some amazing women talk to me about being here supporting them

00:05 It is honestly such an honor to even just be here. Obviously last year like with variety I was

00:11 It recognizes like most powerful woman in reality TV

00:14 So like just to like kind of circle back here again and like celebrate amazing people like I look up to Shonda Rhimes

00:20 So much her work is incredible

00:22 So just like hopefully I get to see her at some point today

00:26 But like just to be here and in the same space as amazing women who have accomplished so much like it really does mean a lot

00:32 And we we're powerful women all of us. Yeah, give us an update on your life. How are you doing?

00:37 I believe you celebrated one year to get it. I did we just got back from Grenada actually yesterday

00:42 So we had a little anniversary trip there and honestly, it's just been so beautiful

00:47 We reflected a lot on what our past year has looked like which it's changed a lot in the terms of how much we've been able

00:54 To do all these opportunities that have come our way

00:57 but I think at the end of the day like we have never forgotten how much we love each other are the meaning of what love

01:03 Is for the both of us and the fact that we found it on a crazy reality television show is crazy to say

01:08 But like we're just really grateful and like we're just in a very blissful time in our life and soaking it all in. Yeah

01:14 Jen obviously is going to be the next Bachelorette and Maria just went on call her daddy and said she actually

01:22 Turned down the opportunity. So what did you think of Maria's decision to turn it down and have you talked to Jen?

01:29 Yes, so both of them love them both. I love Maria. She is such a time such good energy

01:35 When it comes to like Bachelorette

01:38 It's a huge decision and the fact that Maria took that choice for herself to like not

01:43 Take the role out of like protecting her mental health

01:46 But also knowing that she probably wasn't in the best place to like do it

01:49 I respect it so much because for me I I took this process and this journey very serious and it worked for me

01:55 And so, you know

01:56 I'm glad she like was mature enough to like kind of see that for herself and not do it for any other reason

02:02 So I love that hats off to you Maria. You're gonna find your person

02:06 And when it comes to Jen, obviously like she's already well in her way on her journey

02:10 But yeah, I've given her the best advice that I've could give anybody in this position. It is not an easy one

02:16 I told her to not worry about like trying to be perfect because there's no blueprint for how to do this

02:21 Like you just have to do what's best for you

02:23 A lot of people aren't gonna understand like the choices you make but at the end the day they're not the ones in your shoes

02:28 It's you and for her to like really like understand her purpose in this it's to find love nothing else

02:33 And so she has to take that serious when it comes to like vetting these guys out asking these questions that you know

02:39 It may be hard may be uncomfortable. It may be challenging but you know at the end the day

02:42 That's gonna lead you to your person. You're the perfect example of that

02:46 I did. I tried.
