Kate Beckinsale Returns To Red Carpet After Hospitalization For Mysterious Illness

00:00Kate Beckinsale has returned to the red carpet following a mysterious illness.

00:05The love and friendship actress made an appearance at the King's Trust Gala in

00:10New York City on Thursday night wearing a white one-shoulder gown which featured

00:16cutouts in a thigh-high slit designed by Bronx and Banco. The gala honors King

00:22Charles' philanthropic work in the States but while speaking with People magazine

00:27Kate noted that it's been a rough year for her quote because my parents have

00:33been both unwell and my cat it's been a bunch of things so that's why it's nice

00:38to come and see friends and have a little perspective everyone's had a bit

00:43of a rough year I think she explained the star-studded event comes just one

00:49month after the 50 year old was hospitalized for an undisclosed health

00:53issue. In a since deleted post Kate shared a glimpse at her in a hospital

00:58bed wearing a hospital gown and a bow on her head and snapped a selfie where she

01:03appeared to be teary-eyed. At the time Kate didn't provide context for the

01:08hospital photos but she reflected on her mom's support in her caption writing in

01:13part quote thank you to those that love us and support us when it's sh** and try to

01:17make sure there are some bits that aren't and for looking after our dogs

01:22when we can't and lead us to remember happy things when we can't and turn up

01:27when we are sick and sit with us and send balloons and check in and pull us

01:31out of our wells with love. Kate also shared a photo of herself wearing a

01:35t-shirt that read tummy trouble survivor but later deleted the snapshot. Kate has

01:42previously documented her ups and downs in her health journey with fans on

01:46social media. In 2019 she was hospitalized for a ruptured ovarian cyst

01:51and shared a post saying she was quote so thankful to everyone who looked after

01:55me. Then in 2021 she was hospitalized for a back injury TMZ reported at the time.

02:06feeling a lot better thank you so much for your kind messages and love X.
