00:00Grandpa needs his hug goodbye, a big one too.
00:02Hug about that capsule.
00:03I need the big gun.
00:05Could you ever have imagined
00:07having cameras around this long?
00:09No, no, we could never.
00:11We would have never, we did not imagine it.
00:13It just sort of snuck up on us, you know.
00:15It's amazing how time flies.
00:17Yeah, and after 25 seasons on air,
00:20Little People, Big World has come to an end,
00:22at least for now.
00:24Even though we don't live together
00:26and we've gone with separate relationships,
00:28I think we're always gonna be family.
00:30And now, Matt Roloff, the family patriarch,
00:33is opening up about the future of the TLC series.
00:36We've learned for the many years that we've been doing it
00:39that in the balance, it's good.
00:43It's really showing people that we're just a normal family.
00:47Following the season 25 finale last week,
00:50Matt jumped on Facebook to share he's no longer
00:52under a contract NDA, non-disclosure agreement,
00:56and he can speak much more freely
00:58than he has the past 20 years.
01:01Who knows what the future holds?
01:02I think the land, this piece of land will still be here
01:05and you'll be in charge of it.
01:07The TLC star says many people have asked
01:10if last week's episode was a season or series finale.
01:14The answer, unclear, but Matt gave his two cents.
01:18He thinks TLC chose to not call it a series finale
01:21because they hope the fam is down
01:23to film more in the future.
01:25Every year we kind of reevaluate where we're at
01:27and if we have more positive things to share
01:32and just kind of take it as it goes.
01:36In his post, Matt also seems to reference
01:38his estranged son, Zach Roloff, and his wife, Tori,
01:42writing, it's true that several family members
01:44have announced publicly that they are no longer interested
01:47in filming Little People, Big World.
01:49Matt says he and his ex-wife, Amy Roloff, Zach's mom,
01:53have known about this for quite some time.
01:55This is all ours and it has nothing to do with anyone else.
01:58This is just Zach and I.
02:00It's time to move, like time to move on.
02:03The last episode came amid Matt
02:05and his son's years-long feud
02:07over Matt's decision to sell the farm
02:09instead of keeping it with the family.
02:12That ship all sailed.
02:13Like, there's not much of a relationship.
02:15It's just, just doing our own thing.
02:19Time might even it out, but everything will be healed.
02:22It just, it'll be different.
02:23The absolute most difficult part about that
02:28is, you know, I've got four kids.
02:30And so the public really only hears one voice or two voices.
02:35They don't hear the other voices
02:37because they're not on the show.
02:38And that has made it the most difficult.
02:41It has been a difficult process to, you know,
02:43both go through it in reality.
02:45Whatever resolution there may be,
02:47that'll probably really be between Matt and Zach
02:50and how that develops and grows.
02:52And I mean, it's definitely forever change.
02:54It'll be different.
02:56Overall, Matt thinks TLC did a nice job on the finale
02:59and put a nice button on the show.
03:02So if Little People Big World never does come back
03:05in whatever various other forms,
03:07I think consensus is they wrapped up
03:10the Roloff Little People Big World
03:11crazy train saga pretty good.
03:14Karen and I are together.
03:15We have a wonderful family.
03:17We love all of our kids dearly.
03:19So you just focus on all the good things going on
03:23and you realize that how many blessings we actually have.
