Coach Rohan Smith gives his reaction to Leeds Rhinos' 46-8 win against London Broncos.

00:00I thought it was a very professional performance the way we started the game, a lot of discipline

00:12and intent with the way we attacked and our defence, certainly we got after it and didn't

00:19allow any opportunities, they scored a couple of good tries when they were chancing their

00:25arm a little bit but overall we were pretty much as close as you can get to controlling

00:32a game.

00:33We had a lot of disruptions again with losing a couple of backs early on but I thought the

00:40professionalism and the quality of how we went about it, it's been a tricky week and

00:46maybe a tricky couple of weeks for some people in their preparation and the surrounding vibes

00:54I guess, so to come out and play that way with the disruptions was pleasing.

01:02How important were the tries at the start of each half to set the platform for trying

01:08it?

01:09I think all tries are helpful and important but I think it was the way we went about things

01:18that resulted in the tries, it wasn't a trick shot or excessive ball movement, it was more

01:27just playing how we intended to and we got some joy.

01:32I think a lot of people don't give London enough credit for how they compete and how

01:41they are as a team.

01:44They work hard, they're seemingly very committed as a group and I said to our players during

01:50the week how resilient of a group many of them are that were there last year, they weren't

01:55going to make the playoffs at one point for Championship and then they went through and

01:59battled hard to get the ultimate reward.

02:03So I think a lot of people don't give them the respect that they deserve.

02:07We had to earn that today, as have many teams this year have had to earn the victory against

02:13London, they're a committed group and I respect every opportunity to get two points and I'm

02:22really pleased with our players but also I think there's some respect that should be

02:27shown to the opposition.
