00:04 We're going to swim with the gentle giants of Butanding, Bohol.
00:09 The beach in Ilocos Norte is also one of the most beautiful in the world.
00:14 Oscar Oida has a report.
00:16 [music]
00:20 Windmills, check.
00:21 White beach, check.
00:23 Aquamarine water, check.
00:27 That's South Beach in the north coast of Ilocos Norte.
00:31 It's so beautiful that it's considered the most beautiful beach in the world
00:36 by a travel magazine in 2021.
00:39 The wind is strong and the water is clear.
00:44 That's why it's so good to swim.
00:47 There's also a bonus for water sports activities for friends and family.
00:54 If you're looking for a different thrill, let's go to Lila, Bohol.
00:59 [music]
01:01 The underwater camera released "To Meet the Gentle Giants",
01:05 the whale sharks or butanding.
01:08 It's a one-of-a-kind experience because up close and personal,
01:12 you can see the five to ten butanding.
01:16 Because it's close to humans,
01:18 there are nicknames for the whale sharks like Big One, Big Two, and Ceres.
01:25 We took care of the whale sharks here.
01:28 We put the buyas here so they won't be disturbed.
01:32 The foreign tourists pay P1,500.
01:36 The local tourists pay P700.
01:39 Before the butanding can meet and greet,
01:41 there's a briefing to remind them what they can and cannot do
01:47 while whale shark watching.
01:49 Oscar Oida reports for GMA Integrated News.

01:59 A fur parent has a unique cat name, Meowdus.
02:04 Behind this is his cats who are curious about opening the refrigerator.
02:10 That's the heart of Oscar Oida's report.
02:13 [music]
02:16 While looking for a cat,
02:18 Meowdus has found two Meowstermind cats opening the refrigerator.
02:27 Oh, there's a lookout for the cats who are lurking around.
02:34 Later on,
02:35 they successfully opened the refrigerator.
02:41 Here are the other two cats.
02:43 There you go, the cats who were caught are at best in Mukbang.
02:49 They caught
02:52 a sardine,
02:54 a salarin,
02:56 a sinakali,
02:57 a trash can,
02:59 a stampi,
03:00 spinach puffs,
03:01 a tagliatelle,
03:03 and a ravioli,
03:04 rescued poospins of an alligator.
03:08 I heard something like a noise outside my room.
03:14 And when I checked, I saw that Kali was already there raiding the refrigerator.
03:20 The cat-troops are not new to the food heist.
03:25 Cats have been raiding the refrigerator several times.
03:29 But the cats are not hungry.
03:32 They just want to eat.
03:34 And so that the poospins won't happen again,
03:38 The baby safe locks are being snapped so that the cats won't be able to open the refrigerator.
03:46 We really need kindness and compassion and understanding for the cats.
03:52 Oscar Oida is reporting for GMA Integrated News.
