DULCE, 23, from Houston, Texas, loves her dark aesthetic that she describes is a "mixture of trad goth and romantic goth". Dulce mainly takes inspiration from 80's goth, she says her teased hair is the "main character" to her style. However, being a goth combined with becoming a young mom, this has led to a lot of judgement thrown her way. Dulce told Transformed: "I get criticised a lot already for being a young mom so being a goth and a young mom, I get at least every day one comment on my socials of 'I feel bad for your kids'". For one day only, with the help of makeup artist Hope, Dulce with be ditching the black and embrace colour to her aesthetic by transforming into a '90's glamour girl'! Dulce will be surprising her sister and her son with the new look - Will Dulce love the new look? Or will she be counting down the minutes til she can return to being the "queen of darkness"?

00:00 Today I will be transforming from trad goth to a 90s glamour girl and I have
00:05 No idea how this is gonna turn out.
00:08 Big boots
00:09 corsets
00:11 Jewelry, lots of jewelry. I feel like this whole style derived from my love for horror
00:17 My sister has yet to see me in anything other than
00:22 goth attire
00:24 As a Christian it goes against my beliefs
00:28 So she's in for a ride. Are you ready to see?
00:32 Like Lady Gaga
00:39 My name is Dulce I would describe my style as trad goth mixed with romantic goth
00:49 I take a lot of fashion inspo from the Victorian era anything
00:55 Halloween related. I've always loved things that scare me.
01:00 I like to look scary. Big boots
01:03 lots of jewelry, belts
01:05 Anything flared, flowy stuff
01:10 teased hair
01:13 corsets that I can't breathe in
01:15 These are my stompers. I call these my stomper. These were my first pair. I felt like
01:24 Cinderella whenever she puts on her slipper. It felt like I felt so comfortable. I get a lot of inspiration from
01:30 80s goth in particular. I really love the teased hair. Like my hair is like the main character here
01:38 So that's what attracts me about it is I feel like I can be myself as an outcast. I like to look
01:44 Different I've always have felt different. I've never felt like I fit in
01:48 Hey
01:54 Good good. It's dead and all. It sucks
01:58 So yeah as a Christian it goes against my beliefs so yeah, I'm not really for it like she looks good with it
02:12 though like she could pull it off, but
02:14 Not really my taste
02:16 Well, they were very surprised at first
02:20 But I still get comments asking like why what made you want to dress this way? I haven't seen her look
02:27 Normal in a long time. Normal for me was a phase
02:31 Like it's most people say oh I had a goth phase. I had an emo phase. I had a normal phase. That was my phase
02:38 So what made you want to do the transformation thing?
02:41 Well, I like to consider myself a versatile queen and I'm very open-minded
02:46 I want to see how I look in different fonts. Today I will be transforming from trad goth to a
02:52 90s glamour girl and I have
02:55 No idea how this is gonna turn out. My sister has yet to see me in anything other than
03:01 goth attire
03:04 So she's in for a ride. I guess I don't know what the style is gonna be but we'll see
03:09 I think you could pull it off. Get ready to get your world rocked
03:13 Hi! Hey buddy
03:15 No, I'm very
03:31 I feel like it's I'm curious. I just can't see myself and
03:37 Anything other than goth. So it's kind of it's gonna be holocaust for sure
03:44 I've always been goth at heart. Always have liked the dark side
03:50 I've always have liked goth literature. Like I used to write poems myself took a lot of inspiration from Edgar Allan Poe and
03:56 Yeah, I feel like it's always been there and I now that I'm an adult I have the funds. I don't live in my
04:04 Christian household and I can fully express myself
04:07 I would say that it was challenging because not only were we Christian we were poor
04:13 So it was a I've always wanted to dress this way and I was always unable to
04:18 You get judgment for the way that you look
04:26 All the time all the time. I feel like a lot of the times being since I am goth and I'm also a mother
04:33 Young mother at that. I feel like those two coming together
04:37 It's like just bound for destruction and you know, I get criticized a lot already for being a young mom
04:44 so being goth and a young mom, I'm
04:47 Actually every day have at least one comment on my socials of I feel bad for your kids
04:52 A lot of people either look up to me or they hate me
05:02 I
05:04 Don't know what to say. I'm just gonna say it's just a part of me. I'm just gonna say it's just a part of me
05:15 I'm just gonna say it's just a part of me
05:17 I'm just gonna say it's just a part of me

05:31 I
05:33 Look like a different person I don't recognize myself
05:46 Why not? I make it look so pretty
05:49 like Lady Gaga, I
05:51 Don't hate it at all. I actually really like it. Would I do it again? No, I think she's gonna love it
05:58 Like she's gonna she don't want me to revisit my normie face
