01:18Indore will go to polls in the fourth phase of general elections, i.e., May 13.
01:24Akshay Bam's withdrawal followed objections raised by BJP legal cell officials regarding
01:28his nomination form, which failed to mention Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code in a
01:33case dating back 17 years.
01:36Despite the omission, the district collector accepted his nomination as the section was
01:40added on the day of filing.
01:42The hearing on this matter is scheduled for May 10, just three days before the Indore
01:45voting.
01:47On April 27, a significant number of Sikhs, including members of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara
01:51Management Committee, joined the BJP.
01:53BJP chief JP Nadda highlighted the government's efforts to assist the minority community,
01:58crediting Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his dedicated work.
02:01The party reported that over 1,000 Sikhs have joined its ranks.
02:04Earlier this month, Congress candidate Nilesh Kumbhani withdrew from the Surat poll race
02:10after his candidature was rejected due to discrepancies found in the signatures of his
