UE Lady Warriors UAAP rank improves  The UE Lady Warriors made a two-notch improvement after placing sixth in the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament.  Finishing with a league-worst 1-13 record last year, UE ranked sixth this time with a 3-11 slate following their 23-25, 25-17, 27-25, 25-22 win over the UP Fighting Maroons at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Saturday, April 27.   Casiey Dongallo led the way for the Lady Warriors with 28 points and nine excellent digs. 00:18 Your thoughts about your campaign in season 86, what can you say?

00:23 First of all, we would like to thank everybody, all of you guys, the UB community,

00:30 Boss Frank, Boss JJ, Boss CK, and Boss Kiara, all of the SGA family,

00:38 for the continued support, for the UB admin, starting from the president,

00:43 the vice chair, everyone, for their support.

00:47 My thoughts on the season, given the rookies that we have played,

00:57 I felt that we did pretty good.

01:00 Couldn't have done better, but very proud of the accomplishments so far.

01:06 Like you said, this is the first time that UB has come in 6th place in a long time.

01:13 That's what we wanted. We came here to UB to make history.

01:18 No matter the wins or losses, today, the last ball dropped, and that's where I know them,

01:23 and we made history. So I'm very proud of that.

01:28 We're setting the tone for what's more to come.

01:31 We're very, very excited, closing out with a win,

01:35 and then looking forward quickly to work towards the future.

01:41 Season 8, 7, and all the other preseason games as well.

01:44 So we're very happy.

01:55 My assessment of your first year at UE,

01:59 what's the most you can play at UE?

02:02 Of course, what can you say?

02:06 I'm happy because I've always dreamed of playing at UKP,

02:14 and now I'm here, and my season is over as a rookie.

02:19 I'm also happy, as the coach said,

02:24 it's not easy for me to get into UE.

02:28 UE is a challenge for me.

02:30 I'm happy because even though we had a goal that we didn't achieve,

02:39 we're still here.

02:41 We won our last game, thankfully,

02:44 and we gave it to the seniors.

02:47 I told them that they'll leave the U.K.,

02:51 and that history is different.

02:53 Thankfully, I gave it to them, or we gave it to Canada.

03:02 being one of the seniors, league warriors,
