An Arizona grand jury indicted 18 people involved in submitting fake elector documents claiming Trump won the state in 2020. This is the fourth state to bring charges related to submitting fake electoral slates. The charges aim to deter similar attempts to overturn election results in 2024. Eighteen people, including former chief of staff Mark Meadows, former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, and lawyer Christina Bobb, were indicted in Arizona. Former President Donald Trump was named as an unindicted co-conspirator.
