00:00Welcome to WatchMojo and today we're taking a look at the top 10 games where you can pretty
00:14much do whatever you want.
00:17Freedom!
00:26Number 10.
00:27No Man's Sky
00:34In the months leading up to launch, No Man's Sky was starting to sound like a game that
00:37was too good to be true.
00:39One quintillion planets to visit, no true main story, and multiplayer?
00:43Yeah, it blew up in the faces of developer Hello Games.
00:47However, the game has significantly expanded since launch.
00:54No Man's Sky today truly lets you do just about anything you want to do.
00:58You can spend all your time simply exploring planets and collecting data on wildlife.
01:02You can make a name for yourself as a bounty hunter and blast any ship that gets in your
01:06way.
01:07You can even go into real estate and build bases if that's all you want to do.
01:16Number 9.
01:17Like A Dragon – Infinite Wealth
01:25The Yakuza and Like A Dragon games all offer a wealth of activities for you to do throughout
01:29each game.
01:30We promise we aren't playing recency bias, but Infinite Wealth truly has some of the
01:34most diverse and in-depth sets of activities in the series.
01:44Of course, you have a wealth of sub-stories to experience between the main missions, but
01:48you also have the arcade where you can spend hours playing Sega Bass Fishing, Spike Out,
01:53and Virtua Fighter 3TB.
01:55Then there's Dondoko Island, which lets you run your own resort in a manner similar
01:58to Animal Crossing, not to mention the Pokemon parody trading card game, Sujimon Battle.
02:03Oh, and did we mention you can go on dates via the mismatch in-game dating app?
02:08Consider this game a second life for you.
02:17Number 8.
02:18Baldur's Gate 3
02:26One of the best aspects of Baldur's Gate 3 is how it doesn't play like most mainstream
02:29RPGs.
02:30Whereas the usual will keep you generally restricted to one path, Baldur's Gate 3 will
02:34play alongside you.
02:35Whatever build you're going for, the game will play that build with you, and it goes
02:39beyond simple dialogue choices.
02:47It can affect your relationships with certain characters, or even open up new opportunities
02:50for skill checks, which could lead to other adventures not seen in your initial playthrough.
02:55And if you want to off a certain character and be a total menace, well, you can do that,
02:59but it isn't advised.
03:06Number 7.
03:07The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt
03:15On the surface, The Witcher 3 doesn't seem like a game deserving to be on this list.
03:19This is a game where you only get to play as Geralt, and your mission remains the same
03:22each playthrough.
03:23Find Yennefer, slay monsters, etc.
03:25The thing is that there are a ton of other things to experience here.
03:35You can easily get sidetracked from the main story because you saw something strange a
03:39few feet away, or you overheard NPCs talking about a rumor floating around.
03:43Heck, you may even get caught up in becoming the greatest Gwent player in the land.
03:47Whatever your heart desires, it can be done here despite being the same old Geralt every
03:51time.
03:57Number 6.
03:58Kenshi
03:59We're trying to keep survival games to a minimum for this list, but Kenshi is not like most
04:07survival games.
04:08When you spawn into the world, it can be hard to figure out exactly what you should be doing.
04:12But that's the thing.
04:13There is nothing you should be doing.
04:15What has drawn so many players to Kenshi is how the game lets you live out whatever second
04:19life you want.
04:25Just go on forums and you'll see so many players talking about how they are amassing an army
04:29to become a warlord or simply journeying across regions as a courier.
04:33It's almost hard to find something you can't do in this game.
04:41Number 5.
04:42Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
04:55Many of the Final Fantasy games offer a ton of activities for you to take part in.
04:58But Rebirth, the second part of Final Fantasy VII's remake trilogy, is loaded to the brim.
05:03At first, it starts off as just your standard RPG fair of inventory and party management.
05:08Then they introduce Queen's Blood and get you hooked in the first game.
05:11But once you get to the gold saucer, it's all over.
05:14You're going to be spending so much time in chocobo races, combat challenges, cactuar
05:25crush, piano performances, pirates rampage.
05:27There is going to be at least one mini-game you're going to keep coming back to.
05:36Number 4.
05:38Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
05:47Much like The Witcher 3, the freedom in Tears of the Kingdom isn't in how you get to portray
05:51Link or how expansive and malleable the story can be.
05:54No, the freedom in Tears of the Kingdom is in how much you want to mess with the game's
05:58physics.
05:59Once you gain the ability to mesh objects together, you can create all kinds of tools
06:03and weaponry.
06:09Create rafts, railways to ride minecarts on, deadly clubs made of sticks and blades, even
06:14flamethrowers.
06:15The objects of the world are yours to toy with and use however you see fit.
06:25Number 3.
06:26Kingdom Come Deliverance
06:34If you want an RPG that gives you total freedom within its own world, you can live out medieval
06:38times in Kingdom Come Deliverance.
06:40Sure, you do have to build your character just as you would in Baldur's Gate 3, yet
06:44there is a lot more at play in terms of how the world reacts to your actions.
06:55Different crimes warrant different punishments, and your participation in castle sieges can
06:59determine how certain towns perceive you.
07:01In other words, reputation and interactivity is how you live in the world of Kingdom Come
07:05Deliverance.
07:12Number 2.
07:16Minecraft
07:21We could easily say that Minecraft deserves a spot because of creative mode.
07:25The thing is that even in survival mode, the world is your oyster.
07:28You can focus on something as simple as building extravagant houses or operating a huge farm.
07:32Or you can venture out and storm into haunted mansions or villages to steal resources for
07:36your personal gain.
07:42Or maybe you want to summon the Wither and watch it destroy you and your world.
07:46Regardless of what you do, Minecraft basically lets you decide what direction you want your
07:50adventure to take.

08:12Number 1.
08:13Grand Theft Auto Series
08:22What even is GTA?
08:23It is classified as an action-adventure game, but in reality, it kind of is a life sim.
08:29You do have a main story to follow generally.
08:31However, there are so many activities that can bleed into each other and shape your character's
08:35stats.
08:36The more you drive, the better your stats are in racing challenges.
08:39Eating too much food can affect your stamina.
08:41You can play various slots in card games at casinos, go on a date, go bowling with a cousin,
08:45call a certain phone number to summon a tank.
08:53Every game has so many different things to do that calling GTA an action-adventure game
08:57is kind of a disservice to what the game actually is.
09:00Well, when you look at GTA 3 and then the games that came after it anyways.
09:11Which of these games did you live a second like in?
