00:00Take me out for some hot dogs.
00:04Alright, we are in Wildwood, New Jersey.
00:08Not too far from the southernmost part of Queen May County, and there's this place here
00:12that has been featured on the Food Network, and
00:16Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Guys, the army was here!
00:20And it's called Maui's Dog House. And the people who started this
00:24have owned restaurants, Hawaiian restaurants, in Hawaii.
00:28And then they came to New Jersey and decided, why not
00:32pay tribute to Maui by opening up Maui's Dog House
00:36and bringing that spirit with hot dogs.
00:40And this is a fun little place with a little secret.
00:44You're going to see that it's going to be quite fun. So let's go right over here at Maui's
00:48Dog House here in Wildwood and see if these hot dogs are worthy to tank.

01:38Alright, Maui's has been here
01:42for 24 years. They opened in 1999.
01:46And they've already been notoriety.
01:50Guy Fieri was here. You know, I'm going to find every place that Guy Fieri
01:54goes to review. And I'm going to review every hot dog place.
01:58You see, one day, we're going to raw dog together! That's right!
02:02We're going to bring Flavortown, Guy. Guy, you out there? I want a raw
02:06dog episode with you. Well, anyway, here's their dogs.
02:10Now they are
02:14jumble jumble dogs.
02:18And they're grilled. I'm not too sure
02:22I'm too sure of the build. The bread feels a little
02:26stiff to me. It feels more like a hoagie roll than it does a
02:30actual hot dog. And I use the lingo right here. This is South Jersey, so they say
02:34hoagie here. But anyway, let's see how this tastes. And the bun to dog ratio is
02:38good. The dog's sticking out.
02:46And I forgot to mention,
02:50they serve you in dog bowls.
02:54You know what?
03:18You know what?
03:22You know what?
03:26But it actually has the little
03:30notch that you have in front of your hot dog. It has it on that hot dog.
03:34Oh, yes. Yes, it does. It actually looks like your
03:38hot dog. Not as much as that one, though. Well, here's the chili cheese.
03:42This is their natural links. This is how they're actually made.
03:46They're not fake hot dogs. And it looks just like your hat.
03:50Here's the chili and cheese.
04:02I like the cheese. I like using the cheese
04:06that gives it points. The bread's still
04:10I don't think the chili is just like bland.
04:14I'm going to give it a double.
04:18Fries.
04:28These fries are fantastic.
04:328.7.
04:36Oh, yeah.
04:40All out of the dog bowl.
04:44It's always nice to follow the tracks of Guy Fieri.
04:48You know, this place is good. And you know what? This guy has roots in
04:52Syracuse. And he uses Hoffman Hot Dogs
04:56just like Hyde's, another place that was a home run.
05:00So, the Hoffman Hot Dogs are very good.
05:04And it's one of the oldest hot dog companies in America.
05:08And, well, we'll come to another episode.
05:12If you know any other places I should go,
05:16there's no need for that guy to do that!
05:20If you need any, if you have any other places I should go,
05:24leave a comment down below.
05:28And you never know where I'm going to show up. Hopefully that guy with the loud fucking choking out
05:32black smoke doesn't show up in the next place either.
05:36But click like, subscribe, and I'll see you down the road.
05:40Take me out for some hot dogs.
05:44Get me one that's only plain.
05:48No mustard or horseradish ketchup.
05:52I'll know what the dog is really about.
05:56And it's hoped that this is a good one.
06:00Maybe a home run or a double.
06:04But if it sucks, it will be a strikeout.
06:08Rody of my taste buds!
