00:00I talked about losing my Super Bowl ring." Jason Kelsey clarifies a rumor
00:05regarding his missing Super Bowl ring and if it was really stolen. After
00:10recently confessing that his 2018 Super Bowl championship ring went missing
00:16during a live event in Ohio, the former Philadelphia Eagles star takes to X,
00:21formerly Twitter, to clarify rumors. Responding to a report that the ring was
00:27taken, Jason writes,
00:40The former Super Bowl champ and his bro Travis had previously chatted about the
00:44missing ring in the April 17th episode of their New Heights podcast, recapping
00:49their live event, during which fans played a game where they hunted for the
00:54ring in a pool of Cincinnati-style chili.
00:57We have still yet to find it. All of this stuff has been thrown away so I think we
01:03can safely assume that my Super Bowl ring is now in a landfill someplace in
01:08the Cincinnati tri-state area. Then in an April 24th episode, the ring comes
01:13up in conversation again with comedian Andrew Santino and Travis speculates
01:19that it was stolen. How do you lose? I mean that seems such a hard thing to
01:23Well you don't lose it. Somebody steals it. We have some video tape. We have some video evidence.
01:27But as the now-retired NFL star clarifies, it's likely the ring
01:31accidentally wound up in the garbage. When one internet user suggests calling
01:36out incorrect articles should be your new career, give you something to do
01:39until you get a real job, Jason jokingly replies that's way too busy of a job to
01:44take on. The 36-year-old previously made this remark about his lost memento and
01:50his hopes to get a replacement. I mean it's just a hunk of metal. I'll just have
01:54another one made I think. They can do that right? I don't know Jason, probably.
01:59I guess we're gonna find out.
