00:00I think in his seventh year now, that's had threes to his game,
00:04that I'm told 80% of their offense is generated through him either scoring or
00:08assisting.
00:10They've loaded up with shooters all over the place around him.
00:14And so you're gonna see that world too.
00:16And so the simple question you just asked, I just gave a coaching clinic on,
00:21is massive, it's huge, and I could keep going, but I won't.
00:24That's what I hope to learn today.
00:26You mentioned his seventh year, I think Middleton,
00:29they've been playing together for a while now.
00:32When you watch them, A, can you see that?
00:36And B, how do you guys make up for that when your guys are what?
00:41Second and third year, you're superstars, and
00:43then all the other guys thrown in.
00:45I do see it, and I was privileged to grow it in my old life too.
00:50And you can't beat it, whether I lived in San Antonio and
00:57then scouted in OKC when Harden and those guys were playing.
01:00And Durant and Westbrook kept playing, and they had that particularly one great year.
01:05But the familiarity, the nuances, the winks and blinks,
01:09the body language, the chemistry, you can't make that up.
01:15You don't just have a great training camp and now you got it.
01:18And so I do see it, and I've lived it, and I've scouted against it in intimate ways,
01:24mostly in my old life.
01:26And so to look across the fence and see what my friend coach Mike Boudinol has,
01:31is you're jealous because of the history that those two people have had.
01:38It's true.
01:39And then you look at the excitement that we have of growing our guys that are
01:43younger and haven't had that pairing for as long, to your point.
01:47And at times that comes with some pain.
