ESPN has a few potential candidates for the HORSE tournament.
Transcript
00:00 With the NBA on hold without a return in sight, ESPN has been searching for ways to help entertain
00:05 basketball fans over the next couple of months or so.
00:08 The first project started last week when the NBA and ESPN announced they were putting together
00:13 a 16-man NBA 2K tournament with current and former players involved.
00:18 Now this week, the league is coming up with another competition as select players will
00:23 take part in an old-fashioned game of horse.
00:25 As of Wednesday, there are a few rumored participants involved such as Chris Paul, Trey Young, and
00:31 Zach Levine.
00:32 In addition to those three, the competition will also include a couple of WNBA stars and
00:37 NBA alumni as well.
00:39 For the time being, there is still no concrete details on when the competition will take
00:44 place, but over the last few days more details have been emerging, so soon enough, ESPN will
00:50 have the opportunity to air a basketball-related activity to hold fans over during the suspension.
