Chloe Frost, 18, opened The Baking Suite - her very own café - in October 2023.
She initially considered starting an apprenticeship after finishing her A levels in June, but instead decided to follow her ‘dream’ – which had always been baking.
Now, Chloe has her own place in Bromham, Bedfordshire, and neither she, nor her customers, can quite believe it.

00:00 My name is Chloe Frost and I am the owner of The Baking Suite.
00:05 I've baked ever since I was very little and after I finished sixth form last summer,
00:12 I started making celebration cakes from home and selling them for birthday parties and things.
00:20 And then I decided that a uni and apprenticeships wasn't for me.
00:26 So I looked into different premises to open my own little cafe.
00:33 And when I saw this place come about and wanted to keep it into a cafe,
00:39 I thought it would be a good opportunity as it already had a small customer base already established.
00:45 I always ask everyone's opinions on what they think when they come into the cafe.
00:52 And it's always like, "Oh, you've got the best pastry and I love the amount of caramel in the millionaires."
00:59 And yeah, all the feedback has been good so far.
01:02 I don't have much of a social life running my own business, but I still talk to my friends
01:10 and they come to the cafe sometimes as well just to support me.
01:15 I would love to have a chain of The Baking Suites, just locally for now,
01:22 but that's the dream is to open up a few more and just get managers operating them all.
