00:00 Week three of the NFL is officially in the books and joining me now from around the AFC are our Fan Nation
00:06 publishers Nick Cothrell and Joshua Briscoe. I'm Claudette Montana with SI right now and guys, what were your biggest takeaways from week three?
00:14 Well, the charges everything right now surrounding the team is just you know
00:20 how banged up they are with injuries across the board. They lost their standout left tackle Rashawn Slater with a ruptured bicep tendon.
00:28 He'll be out for the season. Wide receiver Jalen Guyton tore his ACL. He'll be out for the season.
00:34 The good news is Justin Herbert didn't suffer any setbacks when he played in week three
00:39 despite having a fracture to his rib cartilage, but they still have a bunch of notable other injuries Keenan Allen,
00:46 Corey Linsley, JC Jackson. Those guys are all you know, they look like they have the chance to possibly play in week four.
00:54 They're all expected to you know, hopeful that they're gonna practice this week and then pass rusher Joey Bosa
01:01 suffered a significant groin injury and he's expected to miss a couple weeks.
01:06 So right now it's all about kind of that next man up mentality for the Chargers as they try to
01:11 shoulder all these injuries.
01:13 Here in Kansas City, we're all going through at the AFC West this week.
01:16 I mean what a week of football for these four teams.
01:19 We always talk about offense, defense and special teams a three-phase game. The Chiefs prove that that's a real thing against the Colts.
01:26 Special teams were atrocious.
01:27 You can easily chalk up 14 points of swinging one way or the other in that game just to the Chiefs special teams.
01:33 The defense was spectacular. Keep an eye on that as the season progresses.
01:37 Offensively the Chiefs have some things to work through. That offensive line looked rough.
01:41 The worst it's looked since they rebuilt it the offseason before this most recent one. 20 some games now for this unit altogether.
01:48 That was one of the worst efforts we've seen from them against the Colts. I think the defense is looking great.
01:52 Special teams should be okay. The offense is working its way there, but it was a messy ugly loss against Indianapolis.
