00:00 Hailey Erber has officially put on her dancing shoes.
00:03 The 29-year-old returns to the stage alongside her husband, Derek Hough, for their Symphony of Dance tour.
00:10 In a video shared to social media, Hailey can be seen getting emotional as she stands alongside her fellow dancers for the final bow.
00:18 Then, moments later, everyone takes a step back to let the 29-year-old fully take in the moment after overcoming a challenging battle to get back to the stage.
00:28 And this exciting day comes weeks after Hailey shared in a post to Instagram on April 5th that she's been medically cleared to return to dancing.
00:37 She wrote in the caption of a video of her and Derek in the studio,
00:41 "What a blessing and surprise it is to be able to be back on stage dancing with my love after such a crazy past four months.
00:50 My healing journey has been nothing short of extraordinary and being able to dance again is igniting my soul in all the ways.
00:57 Speeding up my recovery even more."
01:00 Hailey then goes on to thank her medical team, saying,
01:04 "I am so appreciative of the doctors who have supported me in my decision to dance again
01:09 and my team of specialists that have been assembled to assure that my health and safety is priority."
01:15 She concludes her post with a special message about the Symphony of Dance tour her and Derek created, writing,
01:22 "I cannot wait for you all to see this show. It was so meaningful when we opened last year and now, after everything that has happened, it is truly even more special."
01:32 Back in December, Hailey underwent emergency brain surgery during a Symphony of Dance tour stop in Washington, D.C.
01:39 Since then, the pro dancer has undergone a second surgery to replace part of her skull
01:44 and has been keeping fans updated on her months-long recovery process.
01:48 Recently, Derek Hough sat down with E! News and gave insight to his wife's recovery and how it's nothing short of a miracle.
01:56 "Your beautiful wife Hailey had a massive brain surgery in December.
02:01 The two of you shared this beautiful message assuring that she's recovering. Take a look."
02:06 "To this day, I still have really good days and I have really bad days, emotionally and physically sometimes.
02:15 But I'm doing so much better. Thank you all so much for all of your messages, your love, your energy, your light."
02:26 "And this is just three months. You've only been married three months at this point. You're tearing up already watching it again.
02:32 What has it been like to go through this as a husband?"
02:34 "You know, one of the first things I said to her was, 'Babe, you're putting those vows to the test real quick.'
02:41 But that's really what it is. We've walked through fire together and even more so now.
02:48 But I just couldn't be more proud of her for just what... I knew she was a strong woman,
02:54 but I really had no idea how strong she really was until this happened.
02:58 And I've said she's a miracle, it's been miraculous, but I'm reminded of that every time we meet a new doctor or a new nurse
03:07 and we tell them what happened, they're just like... they kind of look at her like, 'You shouldn't be alive.
03:16 This shouldn't be happening right now.' So it's incredible. And she's doing better than we could have ever expected."
