00:00 Liverpool have been haunted in the past when they were chasing the title by Crystal Palace.
00:07 It happened again on the weekend. A massive loss at home but it's also off the back of a poor result against Man United and then a shocking result in the Europa League anfield as well.
00:20 It seems that it's almost falling apart at the back end of the season now. They've got to pick themselves up. They've got a massive tie at Atalanta and they need to go pretty much flawless now to be within a chance of the title.
00:34 Liverpool were rightly lauded when they had all the injury problems. When Salah was absent, Alexander-Arnold, Subozla, Alisson, they kept going.
00:48 Grinding out results, the youngsters stepped up but it looks like the squad has been stretched and it's coming home to roost now unfortunately. There's not a lot that Liverpool can do about it. They just look tired against Crystal Palace.
01:03 Players like Alexis McAlister, Taro Enzo, they just looked eight yards off it. It's come at the wrong time because Liverpool can't afford mistakes at this time of the season.
01:19 Let's be honest with you, does anyone expect Manchester City to drop any points? Probably not. It's the initiative's theirs now and Arsenal, albeit they've had a blip against Villa, maybe a little bit of a bogey team for them.
01:32 Obviously losing to Villa Park early in the season but what they've shown this season, unsurprisingly, if they've won the rest of their games.
01:39 Liverpool have got to be perfect and even that might not be good enough if they go to Atalanta. Liverpool know all about European miracles. The last two that have happened under the aiding cloth of Aperdon and Anfield.
01:51 Now they've got to go to Atalanta where it's going to be difficult and Liverpool have got to take the initiative to them.
01:58 Atalanta will be quite happy to play on the counter-attack even though they're at home. I don't think they'll care. It's difficult to see them not score.
02:07 If they put in a performance like they did at Anfield, it's disappointing the way it has unravelled.
02:14 I keep saying this, if Liverpool fans would have been in this position at the start of the season, they'd have definitely taken it.
02:22 Maybe not being 3-0 behind in the Europa League quarter-finals but in terms of the lead position, I think Liverpool have overachieved to be quite honest with you.
02:32 You've wanted them to step up a little bit more. The numbers are fantastic but maybe there have been players who have been a bit more important to the overall cause.
02:43 I think Virgil van Dijk has for the most part been the better off of the team. He's been back to his best this campaign.
02:50 Alisson Becker, when he's been fit, he's been magnificent but he just hasn't played enough games to maybe win the Player of the Year award.
02:59 walls.
