Across the nation authorities seek solutions to prevent knife crime after recent stabbings

Across the nation authorities are being asked if more could be done to prevent mass knife attacks. Some jurisdictions are considering bolstering police powers to randomly stop and search people for weapons. There are also some calls for security guards to be better equipped.
