This was the first time I rode my bike through mountains on the northern part of Kyoto City. I lost the text I wrote the first time because YouTube banned my channel for reasons unknown.
I took a stroll past Ninnaji and went up a long road nearby, but had to head back before the sun started setting.
I'm still having a bunch of issues with the brightness just not getting it right. It seems like this is simply the brightness method built into GoPro's software, with the camera trying to always match the sky's brightness while ignoring the actual surroundings. I haven't been able to find a way to change this, but I'll keep looking as it destroys the viewing experience when passing underneath anything.
The hope was that I could earn enough money through the channel to purchase a fancier camera and use that instead of a GoPro, but YouTube's ban makes this a fruitless endeavor. Still, I hope that people enjoy these videos when they stumble across them.
Shot in 4K on a GoPro Hero10 in Spring 2024.
