00:00 I think when you have competitors, it doesn't matter.
00:04 Like, competitors compete.
00:06 It doesn't matter if it's a game, if it's one-on-one,
00:08 if it's a shooting game, if it's--
00:10 That's it.
00:11 --dominoes, if it's, you know, some crazy podcast, whatever.
00:15 They compete.
00:17 And so, you know, you don't have to, like, wind these guys up.
00:22 And that's what I love about them.
00:24 You know, sometimes, you know, we're
00:26 not going to be perfect.
00:27 We'll make some mistakes.
00:28 But they're going to compete, and I think that's important.
00:32 Listen, I have never in my life--
00:35 see, this goes back to the softball.
00:40 I have never in my life heard of anyone that didn't want to win.
00:45 And I've never heard of anyone that
00:46 didn't want to take on the challenge of beating
00:51 the best team, or playing against the best team,
00:55 or beating the best players, or competing and trying
00:59 to win every time you play.
01:01 I don't know anything other than that.
01:04 I play in the mornings with these animals,
01:07 and they try to win every single game.
01:10 They try to score every single trip down the court.
01:15 There is no mercy.
01:17 Winning is the only option.
01:19 Avoiding teams-- I mean, honestly,
01:23 this is the most ridiculous thing
01:24 I think I've ever heard on this show, ever.
01:27 That we're sitting here on a Monday going, oh, man,
01:31 the fans really wanted them to throw the game so they could
01:33 avoid the Philly-Miami team, or oh, we
01:39 don't want the Lakers to win this game against New Orleans,
01:41 because then they'd have to play Denver.
01:43 I mean, it's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
01:47 I mean, honestly.
01:49 It is not true.
01:51 It does not happen.
01:53 It is not happening.
01:55 And let me tell you something.
01:56 If the Knicks fans wanted to lose
02:00 so they could avoid that game, I guarantee you
02:03 they would have lost to the Pacers in the 3-6.
