00:18 Q. Can you tell us what today's event is all about?
00:30 A. It's a big event, it proved that popular last summer. We've had a ticket to kick off that was over 5,000, showed up last year, so it was just a way for us to manage it because it proved that popular. It's just giving something, keeping the kids entertained this Easter. There's football, there's cricket, there's baking in the kitchens, all of the pitches outside are getting used for disability, multi-sport, there's all sorts going on for kids and family to get involved in.
00:52 It's providing access and showing what the venue is about but it's also something nice for the kids to do during the school break.

01:16 Q. I understand you've travelled across from Cumbria with your family to come to the event today?
01:31 A. Yeah, we've been visiting family in the North East and looking for things to do. I knew Sunderland Football Club would have something on so I thought I'd give that a Google and found it really easy.
01:43 Q. What do you make of the event so far?
01:45 A. It's excellent, really good. I'm really impressed with the facilities and the pitches outside are absolutely brilliant. My son's still out there now, he's been out there an hour already so I'm really enjoying it.
01:53 Q. How important is it to have these activities on for the kids during the school holidays?
01:57 A. It's absolutely vital to make sure the health of the area and the city is looked after and I think it's superb that they have these kind of things on there. It's brilliant.
