A trans man and his partner are to undergo IVF using her womb and HIS eggs from before he transitioned.
Taylor Winters, 40,was born a female but always felt "like a boy" growing up.
He would cut his hair short and refuse to wear dresses but didn’t realise he was transgender until he reached his early 20s and he saw a trans woman being interviewed on TV.

00:00 Freezing my eggs was a very interesting experience for me.
00:03 For those who don't know, I'm Taylor and I am a 39 year old trans man. I always wanted to have
00:12 kids. I just never saw myself being pregnant. I had to go through the process of freezing my eggs
00:18 and a lot of you asked what is the actual process and how did I felt. I received two type of
00:25 injections that I had to take in the morning and in the evening obviously to stimulate ovulation.
00:31 Back then when I did it, this hormonal treatment took about 10 days and afterwards I was scheduled
00:38 for the actual procedure. In those 10 days, let's just say that I don't like needles at all,
00:43 but I had to find strength within myself and actually inject myself in the tummy because
00:49 that's where I had to inject the hormones and that was a whole learning curve for me but I've done it.

01:29 We have been given the green to go ahead to start our IVF treatment. Our doctor is really
01:36 lovely and she was explaining to us that we do have a higher chance of having multiples, twins,
01:43 triplets. And we have more news, we've been looking at the donor banks and we have found
01:51 a possible donor and we are very very excited and we have gotten in touch with the donor bank. So
01:59 fingers crossed everything will be okay. I'm getting emotional, I'm only thinking that Chloe
02:05 might be pregnant beginning of next year hopefully, fingers crossed. We have eight mature eggs from
02:13 Taylor that we're going to defrost and fertilize and we'll keep you updated with everything that's
02:20 going on in the new year. It's not that hard to understand I promise. So legally in the UK
02:34 we will both be the parents and that's because I will be the birth mother even though we'll be
02:40 using Taylor's eggs and a sperm donor. We will be using my eggs first and then we'll be using
02:45 Chloe's eggs by using the same sperm donor so the kids will be have siblings.
