00:00 How to meet the current account deficit?
00:02 These are your challenges.
00:04 Let's come to the current account deficit and macroeconomics.
00:07 But Tarar has said that we will put the burden on the one who has affordability.
00:13 And we know that the retailers have not been able to afford it for a long time.
00:16 They are trying to come in the tax net but they are not able to.
00:19 This matter will start from tomorrow to bring them in the tax net.
00:23 There is a lot of retaliation but do you think this is going in the right direction?
00:31 Tax is the responsibility of the person who does business in the country.
00:37 But how he pays the tax is a very important issue.
00:42 If you go into the tax net, the FBR will make you crazy.
00:48 It will not let you do business.
00:51 So you have to find a way to document the economy and get into the tax net.
01:00 And the burden of oppression that comes with it,
01:05 where the FBR sends you a notice of crores and crores of rupees,
01:10 and freezes your account just to fulfill their goals,
01:14 then the matter does not work.
01:16 So my personal opinion is that instead of giving us a fixed tax of 2000 or 5000,
01:24 you should document the economy.
01:27 You should make a partnership or a limited company,
01:31 whatever the corporate set up is,
01:33 and pay the tax on the basis of profit and loss.
01:38 Right. But I have observed one thing about Pakistanis.
01:42 We are the first nation to give Zakat and Sadqa.
01:46 We are among the top nations who give Zakat and Sadqa.
01:50 But we do not believe that the government will pay the tax in the right way.
01:54 Is it the government's fault or the people's fault?
01:56 The people's fault is that we have the fear of Allah in our hearts.
02:01 This is Allah's grace.
02:02 So we give Zakat and Sadqa.
02:04 We do not fear the government.
02:06 We will not give money to the government.
02:08 Although that is also your responsibility as a citizen.
02:11 This is the fundamental thing.
02:13 The fundamental thing is that if you do not fear the government,
02:16 then no one will pay the tax.
02:18 Should the government fear the people?
02:20 Yes, the government should fear those who are equitable.
02:26 If you put so much burden that no business can run,
02:30 or make the system so difficult that no one can be included in it,
02:35 make their life miserable,
02:37 and do not let them run, then the business does not run.
02:40 The whole world has used technology to get out of the lives of the people.
02:46 They have simplified the governance through technology.
02:49 We keep confusing the governance every day.
02:52 Sometimes this comes from here, sometimes that comes from there.
02:55 They make every new institution.
02:57 So we have to tell you very clearly.
02:59 This institution has now become the SIFC.
03:01 I have no objection to the SIFC.
03:03 The SIFC should work.
03:05 The cabinet was there, but the SIFC was not needed.
03:07 Why was the SIFC made?
03:09 Because the Petra rules are not a miracle.
03:12 Businesses do not need it.
03:14 The government has been misled by the NAB.
03:18 So you have taken the investment out of these two things.
03:22 You have given it a cover.
03:24 The investment that comes through the SIFC will not be cut.
03:28 This kind of thing happens.
03:30 The policy is that it applies to everyone.
03:33 It is not possible that one policy applies to me and does not apply to others.
03:36 the world.
