Seven of the largest online sports betting operators in the US are forming a new group called the Responsible Online Gaming Association (ROGA). The founding members are FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, Penn Entertainment, Fanatics Betting & Gaming, Hard Rock Digital, and bet365, which account for over 85% of the legal online betting market in the US. ROGA will work on education, responsible gaming practices, and marketing standards. For the first time, members will share data on problem gamblers excluded from betting. An estimated 2 million US adults have severe gambling problems and millions more have mild or moderate issues.
