00:00 [Train bell]
00:06 I'm here at Talonbach level crossing which is next to Llanbeddur station on the Cambrian line North Wales.
00:11 This crossing provides access to one of the busiest campsites in Europe called Shell Island.
00:15 With Easter approaching the campsite is going to get a lot busier and the crossing use is going to increase significantly.
00:21 [Train bell]
00:24 So Talonbach has flashing lights and an audible alarm to warn users of approaching trains.
00:29 It doesn't have any barriers so it's crucial that crossing users remain vigilant when using the crossing.
00:35 This means that approach the crossing with extreme caution.
00:39 Be prepared to stop when the lights start flashing.
00:42 Remember you must stop when the amber lights are on unless you've already crossed the stop line.
00:47 You must stop when the red lights are flashing and remain stationary until the lights have stopped flashing.
00:52 And make sure that your exit is clear before proceeding over the crossing as there is a risk that you could end up stationary on the track.
00:58 You might be tempted to jump the lights here.
01:01 Please don't do this. Remember the trains cannot stop and you will be putting lives at risk.
01:06 Stay safe.
