00:10 BFP spokesperson Fire Senior Superintendent Anna Lea Tienza said that

00:16 it is a good idea to turn off the main switch of electricity in your homes and LPGs.

00:23 Save the number of the nearest BFP office in your community

00:30 to be able to call in time for emergency.

00:33 As of 2024, there are more than 5,100 fire incidents in the country

00:39 which is higher than the 4,000 in 2023.

00:46 If the BFP is confirmed,

00:47 they will continue their efforts to avoid more fires in the country, especially this Fire Prevention Month.
