The Nazca Plateau in Peru is one of the most mysterious places on Earth. There are many different designs on it, so large that they can only be seen from an airplane. These are not drawings at all, but ditches 135 cm wide and 25-30 cm deep. And they can reach several kilometers in length! Some of these drawings depict animals (monkey, dog) or insects (spider), and scientists still cannot decipher some of the drawings. But perhaps the most amazing thing is the perfectly straight lines that stretch, despite the terrain, for many kilometers. Even modern science does not know how this can be done. No less a mystery is who did it and why. There are many opinions on this matter. An astronomical observatory, an ancient airfield, a complex of religious buildings and, of course, the creation of aliens: these are just a small part of the hypotheses that surround the Nazca Plateau. But what it really is, we will not find out soon. And maybe we will never know.
