00:06 without using force in the face of the issue in the West Philippine Sea.

00:11 At the Bloomberg TV interview with the President,

00:13 the President defended the fact that his sovereignty is being challenged by the country

00:17 which is anchored in international law,

00:19 particularly the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea or UNCLOS.

00:25 And in the face of several incidents in the West Philippine Sea,

00:28 the President said that the country is trying to resolve this in a good way.

00:33 Even if the Philippines and the United States have a mutual defense agreement,

00:38 the Philippines will never be silent and will continue to have dialogue

00:46 to protect its sovereignty in the West Philippine Sea.
