00:02 Are you ready to take your celebrations
00:05 up several notches?
00:06 Imagine having Kazunori's top-notch sushi
00:09 and the splurge-worthy omakase dinners,
00:11 all in the comfort of your own home.
00:13 Omotenashi by Kazunori is a private dining experience
00:16 that goes beyond the ordinary.
00:18 There are three options to choose from--
00:20 plated full service, buffet, and omakase.
00:23 You can even elevate it further with optional wine pairings.
00:27 The spot-on pH team had the privilege
00:29 of savoring the private omakase experience, a journey that
00:32 delighted from start to finish.
00:34 We started with appetizers of the fresh Hokkaido oyster,
00:37 monkfish liver, or the foie gras of the sea,
00:39 vinegared seaweed, and gizzard shad.
00:42 The Hokkaido kigani uni kikunohana
00:45 highlights the sweet, succulent meat of hairy crab.
00:48 The hitachi wagyu sukiyaki was so soft,
00:51 you barely need to chew.
00:52 Beat the egg yolk, dip your beef, and dig in.
00:56 The kinky soup with rockfish and a mellow broth
00:58 is best taken with a squeeze of sudachi.
01:01 We also had flounder and shishito pepper tempura.
01:04 Chef Kuramochi Kazunori came over
01:06 and prepared a trio of nigiri topped with chutoro,
01:09 a toro aburi, and anago.
01:11 And it's not a meal without rice.
01:13 And the kamameshi, a one-pot wonder of seafood and rice,
01:16 did not disappoint.
01:17 To help us wash all that down, we
01:18 had the kumanabe, a fish broth in the shape of a bear
01:21 that melts into a soup.
01:23 Leave room for dessert because the matcha mont blanc,
01:25 a green tea tinge version of the French classic,
01:28 is not to be missed.
