00:00 It's a lot coming thick and fast and as you said last week, it's not over until it's mathematically over.
00:09 So there's lots to look forward to, isn't there?
00:11 That's not even in my thoughts about it being over.
00:14 I think if you look at the league table, with the results at the weekend and Malcom getting beat yesterday,
00:20 the gods are shining on us a little bit with the results over the weekend.
00:26 Of course, we've had what we call a positive point tonight, because we have to call it that.
00:32 We're probably out of all the teams that are capable of getting in the play-offs.
00:38 We're probably in the best position.
00:40 Hi Scott, would you have wanted that game to go on for another five minutes longer,
00:44 as it obviously felt that Croody were the team most likely to get the win at the end there?
00:48 Yeah, definitely.
00:50 We had a throw-in down on the opposite side of the pitch and I was screaming for him to take it quickly,
00:57 because I felt that there would be another chance in the game.
01:00 And then when we got a long throw down the right-hand side, I thought, 'This is going to be it.'
01:05 Obviously, it didn't materialise to that, but we're never going to try and play for a draw.
01:11 I felt that we looked like the only team that could probably go and win it in them dying stages.
01:17 I don't want to be disrespectful to Stockport, but I did feel that we looked like the team that was going to go on.
01:22 And obviously, it's yet again Croody have rescued a result towards the end of the game.
01:28 It kind of shows that fighting spirit that you kind of instilled into the team.
01:31 You must be delighted with that, that despite the score, despite where it's looking,
01:35 you still find that kind of drive late on in the game to rescue something.
01:39 Yeah, I said to the players at half-time, 'Look, no matter what happens in this half,
01:43 keep going because they played Thursday night on a tough pitch at Salford.'
01:47 And we felt that we would be the fresher team tonight for obvious reasons.
01:52 They've travelled down, so we knew that if we just kept going,
01:57 possibly we'd get something from the game.
01:59 No matter what happens, even if they score first, keep going and keep believing
02:03 because I felt that they potentially could run out of steam.
02:08 I know they made a lot of changes as well, probably needed to because of that reason.
02:13 But no, the players kept going right to the end. Really proud of them.
02:17 How much of an impact did Adi Emoh have when he came on?
02:20 I think he put a lot of pace into the game and injected a bit of energy when he came on.
02:24 Yeah, for sure. Adi gives us that, doesn't he?
02:27 He gives us that little bit of energy, that spark, that running power.
02:33 I think Kellen ran out of steam a little bit in the second half
02:36 and we just needed to make those changes quickly.
02:39 And yeah, he definitely added something to the game.
02:43 Were you impressed by Harry Forster, who was particularly live wire in the first half?
02:47 Obviously he was unlucky not to score and was creating a lot of the attacking moves.
02:52 Yeah, definitely. He was one that we were mindful of maybe bringing off,
02:57 but he just kept going, didn't he?
02:59 He kept creating attacking threats all the time down the left-hand side
03:06 and we just felt that we can't take him off.
03:09 He needs to stay on.
03:11 We changed it later on in the game and obviously Nick come on once we'd scored
03:16 and we wanted Nick to shore it up a little bit more.
03:19 But yeah, he's been fantastic since he's been playing and starting.
03:25 He's been outstanding.
03:27 You mentioned Lolo didn't have his best of games,
03:29 but you still showed the quality when it mattered the most.
03:31 You must be delighted with that, that you can just have these players
03:34 that can just find these moments in such key parts of the game.
03:37 Yeah, we probably asked too much of him because we know he's such a good player.
03:40 We want him in the game all the time, but sometimes that doesn't happen
03:42 because of the opposition.
03:43 The opposition don't allow you to have good players like that in the game.
03:47 They nullify your threats really well and they did that quite well.
03:51 But Clyde's got real qualities.
03:52 We know that if you keep him on the pitch, something's going to happen.
03:55 There's going to be an opening that drops to him
03:59 and you know that he's got that quality to finish the action
04:01 and he certainly did that.
04:03 Cheers, Scott.
