00:02 So I'm Chris and I'm one of the skippers
00:13 who works for Solent Cruises,
00:15 do the harbor tours and the water bus service
00:17 here in Portsmouth Harbor.
00:19 So we run the harbor tour boats right around the harbor
00:21 and we also do the water bus service,
00:23 taking visitors from the historic dockyard
00:25 to the gust bolt sites from the submarine museum
00:28 and the explosions museum.
00:30 So on our harbor tours,
00:32 we'll go all the way around the harbor,
00:34 all the way from the harbor entrance
00:36 up until the international ports
00:38 at the end of the naval base.
00:39 And we'll see all the ships that are in the harbor today,
00:42 talk about what they do, what they're used for,
00:45 if we've only visited foreign ships,
00:47 the things we expect to see,
00:48 the various berths throughout the harbor
00:49 and the history of everything on the berth that we can see.
00:52 You know, it changes day to day
00:53 depending on what is available, what's in the harbor.
00:56 It is an active naval base
00:58 and a lot of the warships do go out on deployment.
01:00 So it's different every day,
01:03 but we do our best to talk about what is there
01:05 and there's always something to talk about in Portsmouth
01:07 no matter how many ships are out.
