00:00 For our weather wise segment where we take something complicated and break it down in the field of meteorology, we're going to be talking about the difference between a frost advisory and a freeze warning.
00:12 Now both are associated with temperatures near 32 degrees or the freezing point, but in a frost advisory where you get widespread frost, we're expecting that low temperatures are near or slightly above freezing.
00:24 Tender outdoor plants should be covered, but if you do cover them, they would likely not get destroyed.
00:31 But a freeze warning is totally different. This is where temperatures are at or below the freezing mark for a large period of time and these conditions occur over a large area.
00:41 Any tender plants that are caught outside during a freeze warning means they will likely be destroyed.
