00:02 I have a very, very helpful tip
00:05 for all the readers out there.
00:06 I learned this from Brother Adam Neri
00:09 with the Brotherhood of Hope when I was in college.
00:10 I call it the reading rule of five.
00:13 The idea is to stay well read by just having
00:16 kind of like a revolving door of books at all times.
00:19 So the first book you should always be reading is
00:21 the Bible.
00:22 Up next, you have a spiritual book
00:23 that you're reading through to help you
00:25 obviously grow in your spiritual life.
00:26 Third is a book to just educate yourself on something
00:29 so that'll be nonfiction for most people.
00:31 Fourth was a book for entertainment
00:33 which would be fiction for most.
00:34 And lastly, since we're in college,
00:36 the fifth book was usually a book for class.
00:39 Now, since I am no longer in college,
00:41 I usually swap this in for a book club book
00:44 or just another nonfiction or fiction book
00:46 that I've really been wanting to read.
00:47 For a lot of times since I'm busy, I will do an audio book.
00:50 Now, obviously five books at one time is a lot
00:53 so you can definitely tailor this
00:55 and tweak it to fit your own lifestyle.
00:57 If you found this helpful, like, share, and save.
