00:00How do you mostly consume books? Do you buy them physically or get them from the library?
00:15Yeah, it depends. So, if I'm after a particular book, I'll buy it. If it's something that
00:19I'm just kind of curious about, I might download it and read it. Otherwise, a lot of times
00:25people give me books and that's how I read them or I'll just go to like an op shop and
00:29find something interesting and read it.
00:31So, do you generally have hard copy books then?
00:34I used to have a lot of them, but because I travel a lot recently, I've just sort of
00:39not bothered buying them as much just because I've got to pack them and move them. So, yeah,
00:46I mean, once I've read a book, I tend to just give it away or store it or, you know, I don't
00:52really, I'm not the sort of person that holds on to books for a long time. I sort of just
00:56share them.
00:58Has your attitude around like digital mediums, e-books and audio books changed over the last
01:03couple of years?
01:04Yeah, I'd say so. Yeah, I definitely do a lot more online reading than physical books
01:10just because of convenience mostly. But more and more as I get older, I like to actually
01:17sit down and read a book. I like the physicality of it. I collect records. So, I'm kind of
01:22old school like that, you know. But yeah, in terms of convenience, you know, I'm less
01:28likely to go down to a bookshop and find a book. If I can find it online and I can download
01:33it, I'll usually do that.
01:34Do you use any of the online borrowing services for libraries like Firebox or Bookful.db?
01:40No, I don't. No, I haven't gone down that rabbit hole. I'm sure if I did, it would be
01:47a long haul of books and things to read. So, yeah, finding time to kind of read books
01:53these days.
