00:02 - A really good one by you in Vancouver,
00:05 the Avalanche and the Canucks tonight.
00:08 Big, best game of the night on the ice.
00:10 - Yeah, the Vancouver Canucks have gotten back on track
00:13 after struggling a little bit after the All-Star break,
00:16 playing great hockey right now,
00:18 but everything has been going so well
00:21 for Vancouver all year.
00:22 They lose their All-Star goalie, Thatcher Demko,
00:24 for the next two, three weeks.
00:26 It's not season ending or anything like that.
00:28 There was a little bit of fatigue.
00:30 Things are popping and cracking.
00:32 When you saw him get,
00:34 you couldn't really tell he got hurt.
00:36 You could just sort of see he was in discomfort
00:38 and he told them, "All right, I wanna come out now."
00:40 So it turns out he's gonna be out for a couple of weeks.
00:42 But Rick Tockett's one of the funnest
00:46 press conferences in sports, actually.
00:48 But he's in the Pacific Northwest,
00:49 so nobody pays attention to it.
00:51 But he's so honest and funny and stuff.
00:53 And he was asked about KC to Smith,
00:56 and he goes, "Guys, I was in the NHL a long time."
00:58 He goes, "I've been in this league 30 years
01:00 as a coach and a player."
01:01 And he goes, "I shouldn't say this, but it's true."
01:05 He goes, "If you don't like the goalie,
01:07 it could be a problem when the backup plays."
01:10 He goes, "If you like the backup,
01:11 you'll block shots and you'll dig in."
01:13 He goes, "The guys love KC."
01:15 KC to Smith is eight and four, bro.
01:17 He's got a 2.40 goals against average.
01:20 I think it's a good spot for the Canucks tonight.
01:22 I think they're gonna beat the Colorado Avalanche tonight.
