00:00 whoever thought agony could look so good animated here's a look at the brand-new
00:04 NECA toys to knee tears saws jigsaw and Billy the puppet
00:10 bring the fun of Saturday morning cartoons to your horror collection with
00:28 these adorable little creeps standing in approximately six inches tall the box
00:31 that includes the jigsaw killer and Billy the puppet with tricycle from the
00:34 saw movies the figures stand in six inch scale and come in a window box packaging
00:38 with bonus cutout backdrop well it's Saturday afternoon we've all been
00:43 invited over for games I hope we start with pen the tail in the donkey before
00:47 of course we get a closer look at the new to knee tears saw jigsaw killer and
00:50 Billy the puppet the tape measure is first going to tell us that the figures
00:53 are about five inches in height first for John and that's gonna work out to be
00:56 a figure that's about 13 centimeters tall Billy is obviously quite smaller
01:00 even though he's sitting on top of it you have this tricycle he's actually
01:04 only about three and a half inches in height or about nine centimeters tall and
01:08 then to bring in a couple of figures for comparisons having already looked at
01:12 Megan and we're gonna kind of keep all the killer dolls on this side here's
01:15 what he looks like with Megan so obviously Megan's gonna be a little bit
01:17 taller than Billy the puppet we'll also bring in Chuckie Chuckie is still again a
01:22 little bit of an outdated figure I still hope that at some point we get ourselves
01:24 new to knee terror Chuckie but again like killer dolls all on this side on
01:28 this side though let's bring inside the other figures we've just recently looked
01:31 at here in this channel backtracking only by just one video is what the
01:35 figure looks like with the misfits fiends and then just before that we also
01:38 looked at the return of the living dead tar man I have taken the liberty of
01:43 grouping the accessories by what character they belong to you'll notice
01:46 an abundance of accessories on this side and little to no accessories over here
01:52 Billy the puppet though isn't slouching literally and figuratively as the figure
01:55 also comes in clear with his tricycle so at least hey there's that he doesn't
01:59 look like he's attached permanently on to the bike though you can see that his
02:02 hands are separate from that you can also see as well that it looks like he
02:06 can lift his his seat off the seat the only thing that looks like it's
02:10 permanently attached is his feet to the bottom of the pedals or on top of the
02:13 pedals the bike itself does have a large spinning tire on the on the front and
02:17 two small spinning tires on the back and there's technically posability as well
02:21 for Billy you can rotate the head back and forth as it is on its own ball joint
02:25 it's a nice-looking Billy the puppet although if we are in the world of
02:29 Toonie terrors which I like to think that we are I would have maybe oversized
02:33 his head and even made his eyes much larger just to really make the home the
02:37 drive home the idea that this guy's from a cartoon because as it is right now
02:40 short of the coloring just be a little bit brighter than traditionally Billy
02:43 the puppet would be he doesn't really look that much different from the movie
02:46 Billy the puppet like I said I would have made his head a lot larger maybe
02:50 not that big but you know you get the idea I would probably make it a little
02:53 bit larger much larger eyes as well just really overly exaggerate them but that's
02:58 Billy the puppet we'll just put him right over there then again for the
03:01 jigsaw killer or John if you prefer the figure comes in clover's claw with his
03:05 sleeve blade why don't say claw his sleeve blade that sticks out the end of
03:09 the sleeve if you have been collecting Toonie tears you probably recognize this
03:12 color combination the darker bluish gray and then that little bit of
03:15 reflection of blue is something that we've gotten with the Jason for he's I
03:19 think one of the earliest figures even Freddy Krueger Michael Myers even I
03:23 think Ghostface have all come in clue with weapons sort of like this what
03:26 isn't the case though is that with this one you guys you can see there's a
03:29 little bit of lip of plastic on the end he doesn't actually have a handle so
03:32 he's not holding it like an actual blade what he does instead though is if you
03:36 look on the end of his sleeve there's a slot right there that you take the blade
03:39 and you just have it like literally ejecting out from the end of his sleeve
03:42 like in the movie you just gotta be careful though putting it in I was
03:45 worrying that I had to put a lot more pressure than I was expecting that I
03:48 thought I might have potentially broke the plastic on the bottom I haven't yet
03:52 yet while we put him right here with the blade sticking out the figure also comes
03:57 in clue with a reverse bear trap one of the go-to when the og traps from the
04:01 first saw film it's always the best I honestly feel it's one of my favorite of
04:05 the ghosts of the traps that we get from the soft films even has a little padlock
04:09 there it's got the timer there on the back it's molded here nicely in a dark
04:13 chestnut brown it's not something that you're necessarily gonna be putting on
04:16 top of John said not that he'd be wielding his own not to be wearing his
04:19 own traps but it's just a nice little souvenir that comes included with him I
04:23 don't really know what I'm necessarily gonna be doing probably just putting it
04:26 by his foot for example the figure also comes included with this folded down
04:30 cloak hood now this is only if you wanted to swap the figures head sculpt
04:36 out with the pig mask which just happens off to be off the side there what you'll
04:40 do instead is before you put the pig mask on you'll actually take this piece
04:44 first and you'll put this over top of the ball joint I'll show you guys what
04:47 that looks like in a second first though let's pick up the figure as he is right
04:51 now let's just remove the blade because I don't want to break that getting
04:53 closer look at John not really sure exactly what he's looking at he looks
04:57 to me looking up at the sky head sculpt is really good on this one kind of
05:00 reminds me of jigsaw from I guess more saw - he doesn't have a removable hood
05:05 for obvious reasons so sculpted in place I think the head sculpts really good on
05:08 this I still don't know what he's looking at necessarily I probably would
05:11 have just had the eyes looking straight forward but I love this scowl on his
05:14 face that's a guy that's seeking revenge for his body he's pretty pretty posed
05:19 though I mean like his arms gonna be always down I mean any any of these
05:22 articulation for these figures are all always gonna be usually just really
05:25 relegated to like five points John just happens to suffer a little bit by having
05:29 a lot less articulation he really only has it just in the shoulders and he has
05:33 it here also in the hands and in the head but the head sculpts good if you
05:36 did want to change it out to the pig mask though we're just gonna go ahead
05:39 and pop the head off from the ball joint there we go and then just before just
05:43 before we do that we're gonna go ahead and take the hood and just put that down
05:46 first take the pig mask and we're just gonna pop that back onto the ball joint
05:51 I had a harder time actually getting the pig mask in place that I end up having
05:55 to heat it up just a little bit in hot water it has since cooled off a little
05:59 bit so you may have saw me struggling a little bit trying to get that onto the
06:02 ball joint but that's what the pig mask looks like and then the only other thing
06:04 left to then do is just go put the blade back in his back in the sleeve there I
06:08 mean obviously with having the temptation now of two different to
06:12 really stellar looking head sculpts I'm really interested to kind of get more
06:15 than one of these and I can have one displayed on the shelf like what you see
06:18 right now or you and again have the other one displayed then with the John
06:22 Kramer head sculpt really great looking heads on both cases let's go ahead and
06:26 just right now remove that again if you I as quickly want to see what the head
06:30 sculpt looks like for the pig mask we're not gonna shortchange you guys at all
06:33 nice little stitches that they've got on the side of the face there Baron
06:37 looking eyes there and the long black hair really just an eerie looking head
06:41 sculpt in that in the movie still translates pretty eerily though even
06:45 though it's a more cartoon look to the killer all right let's go ahead and pop
06:48 the head back off just remove the hood back again and we'll just put back in
06:52 the defaulted head sculpt I'm sure we're probably gonna come back to the pig mask
06:55 as we get to the end of this review for the rest of the figures body while
06:59 looking at this you would assume that the figures body was probably cast in
07:02 black plastic until you look at the bottom of this I think it's actually
07:05 more been cast in red plastic and then they probably would have had a
07:08 meticulous meticulously go in there and paint this all in black probably did
07:12 this though in black plastic and maybe painted the end of the sleeves but I
07:15 mean the fact that they're looking at the bottom of this maybe it was just
07:18 easier for them to cast all of this in black plastic and just paint the bottom
07:22 in red but it does look like the bottom of it by the way it is unless they did
07:26 maybe they just went in there and painted in red either way though it's a
07:28 nice-looking body it's very long as it should be you know to compare him with
07:33 the earlier looked at tar man I mean like he's even taller than tar man which
07:37 again just makes me think that tar man need to be a lot taller than what he
07:40 actually was he's again very limited articulation which unfortunately is the
07:44 case for for jigsaw here so his head's only really gonna be on a ball joint I
07:47 mean it doesn't allow at least the head to rotate back and forth it looks up
07:51 only by just a little bit it looks down well you know if you blinked you may
07:54 have missed it up and down that's it and you can rock it back just a little bit
07:58 back and forth that way now the arms again are pre posed so they're always
08:02 gonna be up like he's just like he's just one of those old man that you know
08:05 just pointing at the sky why is the Sun need to be out again today but the arm
08:09 just only rotates back and forth this way this arm rotates only just by a
08:13 swivel in the shoulder and then you also have the additional benefit of the
08:16 articulation in the wrist for the lower legs though nothing nothing at all but
08:20 he does have at least hey there's something a pickle in the underside of
08:23 his feet so he did want to use again a display stand that NECA does produce
08:26 just plug it on the bottom of the seat not that the figure has really any if
08:29 issues at all standing whether you decide you want to display him with the
08:33 unmasked John Kramer portrait or hey why not this little piggy went to buy traps
08:38 to torture people you can also display it that way as well nice looking figure
08:42 yeah I wonder do I would do wonder if we are gonna be getting a variation of this
08:46 maybe the red cloaked pig killer you never know if that's the case I'm sure
08:50 they probably are just gonna simply use the same head sculpt as we've already
08:52 gotten already if not for that I might just be tempted Oh twist my rubber arm
08:56 twist my one pre-posed rubber arm that's sticking up to the sky flailing my fist
09:01 at the Sun I might just find myself picking up a second one of these so I
09:05 can actually have one figure displayed with John Kramer face and then of course
09:08 one displayed with the pig mask too good too good I think to be putting back in
09:12 the packaging and of course just by virtue of that will just end up having
09:15 to Billy the puppets on his tricycle but that's not that's not a bad thing at all
09:18 like the figure I think if anything I would say like Billy the puppet needed
09:22 to be a little more exaggerated just giving a bigger head more exaggerated
09:26 facial features on his face I think would have really drove home this set
09:29 but if you are certainly a big fan of saw and the Suni terror line it's
09:33 definitely worth a set picking up well I finally made it out of that cellar trap
09:38 that had been locked away in for months hoping to go to my local stores and
09:41 seeing if they had new stock of NECA available nothing's changed at all in
09:46 fact and I actually just went to my local comic book store not too long ago
09:49 and they just have old stock of NECA I asked the guy how come you're not
09:53 stocking anything new for NECA and he actually said to me well customers
09:57 aren't really coming in and buying anything new NECA so we've just decided
09:59 not to order anything new that's how you have a successful business if you guys
10:04 have had similar failures finding things in the local wild you can actually find
10:09 this guy or this set of Jigsaw Killer and his little partner and colleague in
10:13 crime yeah Billy the puppet I actually did find this one at Entertainment Earth
10:16 still in stock as far as I know and that same link if you guys by the way are
10:20 interested will save you 10% on anything that's currently in stock if you guys
10:24 have though on the other hand been lucky enough to be finding any of the new
10:26 Toonie terrors wave let me know if you guys have been collecting these and
10:29 which is your favorite figure so far gotta say it's it's the Tar Man I mean I
10:34 don't think that's necessarily gonna be changing when we're gonna be looking at
10:37 Vincent Price which by the way will be coming up in the upcoming review but I
10:40 gotta say like Tar Man is my favorite the star of this this current wave Megan
10:44 was good too but not as good as Tar Man, Tar Man is still my favorite but if you
10:48 guys have been yeah collecting any of the Toonie terrors let me know what your
10:50 favorite is down below in the comment section and if you guys have enjoyed
10:53 this video I want to throw it a like you guys are loving the content you guys are
