00:34 is an automotive media company that

00:36 unites car and bike enthusiasts from across the country.

00:42 After two years of hosting their annual Women's Day event,

00:46 this past weekend marked its third installment,

00:49 one that drew a significant turnout of women drivers.

00:53 Gathered from every corner of Malaysia, Johor, Penang, Perak,

00:57 and beyond, around 100 lady drivers

00:59 have united to celebrate the unstoppable spirit that

01:02 drives them all.

01:05 All-women teams driving a fleet of Mustangs, Honda Cities,

01:14 and Mayvis, to name a few, formed a striking convoy

01:22 that turned heads on the road.

01:24 Starting from the Denay Alam R&R along the Dash Highway,

01:32 these ladies embarked on a 30-minute journey

01:35 to Muse Craft Motorsports in Setia Alam.

01:39 Speaking with FMT Lifestyle, Keita Motomai founder,

01:42 Raj Krishna Roshan Kanasan, stressed that the passion

01:46 for cars knows no gender.

01:49 So what inspired me to do Women's Day

01:51 was from the start, since young, I

01:54 grew up with my mom and my two sisters,

01:56 so I didn't have brothers.

01:58 So growing up with ladies and having the interest

02:00 in automotive and looking at the Malaysian car culture,

02:04 we need more exposure and opportunity

02:06 for lady drivers and bikers because I

02:10 see the car community, honestly, majority are men.

02:13 Saying he hopes to organize more events on a larger scale,

02:16 Raj remains optimistic about the future of women

02:19 in the industry.

02:22 He pointed out that beyond their regular jobs,

02:24 some women in the group have even

02:26 ventured into automotive engineering

02:29 or launched their own car painting workshops,

02:31 all driven by their passion.

02:35 Among the teams at the event was Weekend,

02:38 led by 28-year-old Diane Uma Daniel

02:40 and primarily made up of her family members,

02:43 including her mother.

02:51 I always get this, I would say, a reaction because as a female,

02:55 you are doing boy stuff.

02:56 You are doing racing.

02:58 And now I have a Triton.

03:00 Even gives like, why are you using a 4x4?

03:03 Is that necessary?

03:06 But that hasn't stopped her.

03:08 Thanks to the support of her family and friends,

03:10 men included, she continues to get behind the wheel.

03:16 Meanwhile, the ladies of the Mustang Club Malaysia team

03:19 shared with FMT Lifestyle their profound love for racing.
