Transcript
00:00 Dan Ballard, Sunderland Centre Back, you're here at the beginning of Light for World Book Day.
00:04 Tell me what you're bringing up to please.
00:06 Yeah, it's been a brilliant day so far.
00:09 All the local schools have come in, set up by the foundation and the like.
00:15 There's been lots of activities going on.
00:18 There's some Harry Potter themed stuff going on downstairs, activities in the gym.
00:22 There's been a few classrooms here, so me and Pierre have just been walking around
00:27 and getting involved with the activities and meeting as many of the pupils as possible.
00:33 And you've enjoyed it?
00:34 It's been brilliant, yes.
00:35 It's nice to connect with the local community and meet some of the young fans.
00:42 What are your favourite books?
00:44 As a kid I used to read all of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
00:50 I believe that's what it's called.
00:52 I used to read all of them.
00:54 My favourite book growing up is probably Gym Paradox, which I read a few years ago.
01:01 It helped change the way I looked at things, so that's a recommendation.
01:06 Thank you very much for that.
