00:02 - How about this turnaround for the Milwaukee Bucks?
00:04 You know, two stories actually to tell with the Bucks.
00:06 The game tonight, which we have a very, very big question,
00:09 I think, going into the game.
00:11 But the story of the second half,
00:13 or at least you would say after the All-Star break,
00:15 is the fact that the Bucks look exactly
00:17 like who we thought they would be.
00:19 They hired Doc Rivers to do a job.
00:20 Gilbert, it took him some time, very clearly,
00:23 to get everything in a row,
00:25 but they have been playing awesome basketball.
00:27 They've moved to seven to one now
00:30 to win the NBA championship on the FanDuel Sportsbook.
00:32 And remember, when they were going through that streak,
00:33 I think they were like 10 or 11 to one.
00:36 Is what you're seeing legit,
00:37 or is it just a hot streak from the Bucks?
00:39 - I do think it's legit.
00:41 And it's interesting because we knew that, you know,
00:44 in bringing in a new head coach at that stage of the season,
00:47 it was going to take time.
00:49 And I'm not necessarily one who was for
00:51 the firing of Adrian Griffin,
00:53 but I understand why they made that decision.
00:56 Giannis is 29, Damian Lillard is 33,
00:58 and this Bucks team is generally
01:00 just one of the older teams in the NBA.
01:01 So if your best player feels like the guy leading the way
01:04 isn't the best suited to lead them to win an NBA title,
01:08 it makes sense.
01:09 Now with Doc, things were going to get worse
01:10 before they got better.
01:12 That loss going into the All-Star break
01:14 was probably rock bottom for this team,
01:17 losing to a Grizzlies team who was down half of their roster.
01:20 But they figured it out since then.
01:21 I think just time together,
01:23 Doc Rivers is implementing Portland plays
01:26 and sets for Damian Lillard.
01:27 So guys look more comfortable,
01:29 and they're rounding into shape at the right time
01:31 because as we mentioned, this is that end game.
01:34 They've moved back into second place
01:35 in the Eastern Conference.
01:36 Nobody's catching the Celtics,
01:37 but if you can avoid seeing the Celtics
01:39 until the Conference Finals,
01:41 you'll do yourself a big favor
01:42 as far as making a deep run in the playoffs.
