"I hadn't seen my grandma for quite a while and had not visited her during Chinese New Year because I was studying overseas," the returnee, Shannise, revealed to WooGlobe. "So, my mum and I decided to surprise her and lied to her saying that we were not going back for CNY."

The moment Shannise steps into the room, Chua instantly enters a world of disbelief. She goes from casually cutting fruit to being on the verge of throwing a party to celebrate her long-awaited reunion with her granddaughter.
