Big South Conference Tournament Odds and Predictions

00:00 Now we go to the Big South Conference where High Point is the number one seed
00:07 in the pretty sure favorite plus 105 approaching even money. Drew Pember is
00:12 back for UNC Asheville. He is a stud plus 290 there for UNC Asheville. Winthrop
00:18 at 7-1 and Gardner Webb 8-1. DRS those are the four teams with three digits in
00:23 their prices to try to win the Big South Tournament and get a bid to the NCAA
00:28 Tournament as well. And also let's take a look at this tournament here. Keep in
00:32 mind the number one overall seed is High Point. You know where the entire
00:35 tournament is going to be played this year for the Big South? High Point
00:38 University. Home court advantage is key here. Also we just told you about a
00:42 conference that says you know we're gonna leave out the bottom three teams
00:44 here. As some of these conferences do. There's nine teams in the Big South. All
00:48 nine teams will be participating in this tournament here as it gets wrapped up.
00:52 But if again you're looking at those buys here. Only looks like the eight and
00:55 the nine are gonna play each other. Then everybody else sort of filters in. So
00:59 really everybody's getting that sort of first round buy because you don't have
01:02 to avoid it. But you're also looking at High Point playing the lowest seed
01:05 possible to get it started on their home court. You take a look at some of those
01:08 odds here. That's why there were plus 105 here in this tournament at the Fan
01:12 Bowl Sportsbook. And you take a look at UNC Asheville at a plus 290 price. It's
01:16 nice to have it on your home court. But again as we said you fill up with fans.
01:19 You're used to the shooting angles. But UC Upstate and Radford are going to play
01:23 a game on your home court there. They should win that. They'll be comfortable
01:27 with the sight lines and the routine already. But if High Point can get past
01:30 that first game. It should be. But I don't say smooth sailing. That's not fair.
01:33 They're not that big of a favorite. But on your home court. You got a game under
01:36 your belt and already won. They probably should take the tournament.
