A huge game ahead.

00:00 I'm here with Will Rooney of Liverpool World to discuss everything Liverpool and Everton.
00:06 Will, let's start with Liverpool. They face Manchester City. Is this make or break in the title race?
00:12 We've seen Manchester City hit their peaks again at the back end of a season.
00:16 I mean, it could be a golfing class on either side, but they're both going to be at their best
00:21 and it could certainly have a huge say in the title race.
00:25 Yeah, it's seismic, isn't it? I think it would be Bill's as a title decider if it weren't for Arsenal.
00:31 But this season you've got a three-pronged title race, which is, from a New School's perspective,
00:36 it must be really exciting to watch, especially the way Arsenal have absolutely been relentless,
00:41 haven't they, since the international break, putting six past Sheffield United the other night.
00:46 So normally you would be saying this is a title decider when it has been, but it's not the case this season.
00:54 But it will have massive ramifications, consequences on who wins the title and who misses out ultimately.
01:04 Liverpool have got an excellent record against Manchester City at Anfield,
01:09 but all four of those out of the window in this one.
01:13 Liverpool are obviously in action at Sparta Prague before, three days earlier.
01:18 City have got the extra day's break and they basically, let's be honest,
01:21 have been speaking beforehand about the areas they are supposed to do against Copenhagen in the Champions League.
01:26 So that's a little bit of a gimme for them.
01:28 We've all got to go to Prague and get the results and Jürgen Klopp will be wanting to have success in the Europa League as well as the Premier League.
01:36 Obviously the Premier League is the most important one for Liverpool to win,
01:40 but it's just one of those on such a knife edge, isn't it?
01:44 It always seems these games, even last season when Liverpool were well out of the title race,
01:50 when they went to Man City and they got a B4, even then you were thinking,
01:54 can Liverpool actually turn around and have a good end to the season here and prove that they can do something?
01:59 But no, it's a massive game.
02:01 Obviously City, as you say, rightly informed, they've been imperious.
02:05 Liverpool have just been eking out results of late in a few games,
02:10 all that's come from behind against Luton.
02:14 I beg your pardon, they've had to fight against Luton.
02:18 And then obviously the Caravan Cup final, you had the Police,
02:21 even the FA Cup and the Nottingham Forest game, it's all a 99th minute winner.
02:26 So Liverpool haven't been brilliant, but they've got that fight and that desire,
02:29 I think that could prove difficult for Manchester City.
02:34 And looking into it, we've seen Erling Haaland, he's come back from injury, he's scoring again.
02:39 But at the same time, we have also seen him kept at bay a number of times by Premier League defenders.
02:46 Is there more of a race to keep Phil Foden quiet at Anfield for Liverpool?
02:51 What are the key battles going into this one?
02:54 There's plenty, isn't there? I think as you rightly said, Haaland's a huge Van Dijk hubby.
02:59 In Shriegan Wooning, obviously, AP McIntyre as well,
03:02 I'll have to try and shackle him, Phil Foden's been in magnificent form.
03:06 He's difficult to mark, isn't he? He's just got that low sense of gravity
03:09 and he's deceptively quick as well, he's so hard to keep hold of.
03:13 But I think Kevin De Bruyne, and whoever plays in the number six role for Liverpool, will be interesting.
03:19 I think it probably will be for Taro Endo, he's come back from that ankle knock he picked up in the Carabao Cup final.
03:25 Just to keep De Bruyne and make sure that he's stopped the supply line to Haaland and the players' favour forward.
03:33 If he can do that, then Liverpool will give themselves a massive platform.
03:36 It'll be a big game for Endo because he's really settled into life at Anfield after a difficult start.
03:42 He's probably one of Liverpool's most underrated players, offside and any-side.
03:48 I don't think maybe a lot of people don't know too much about him, really.
03:51 I think opposition supporters maybe haven't watched him enough to realise what a player he is.
03:58 So that'll be an interesting one, 100%.
04:01 And then, obviously, Mo Salah can come back from injury, then that'll be huge for Liverpool.
04:06 Darwin Nunes, Vistar, Sanicas, Ron Manchester City, Braggart potentially.
04:12 So all in all, it's going to be a massive game, one I'm sure everyone is looking forward to.
