00:05 Look, contract aside, he's probably gonna be gone.
00:07 He's probably not gonna pitch for the Orioles after this season.
00:11 But him on the mound, opening day for that team with that offense that they have,
00:16 he was the absolute perfect fit, I think, for that trade, for
00:21 that team with the Orioles.
00:21 >> This is the rare case of, teams don't do this as often in baseball.
00:28 Normally, they frustrate us, Craig.
00:30 Normally, the last five, ten years of baseball, you'd have a team with this
00:34 young core that is not in a super major market.
00:39 Not that the Baltimore market is nothing, but
00:42 they would probably just kinda let it play out.
00:45 Maybe they would add a Michael Walker or someone like that.
00:50 They'd add someone who's not terrible, or really,
00:52 I guess it's what they did with Kyle Gibson,
00:54 is they add someone who's kinda fine, but not someone who's great.
00:58 Meanwhile, what we have here is a team actually doing the thing that they
01:01 should have done, although, I don't know how you feel about this.
01:03 I mean, kinda bummed out they didn't do this at the trade deadline last year,
01:07 cuz I kinda thought this Orioles team was ready to rock.
01:10 I wanted both the Orioles and
01:12 the Cincinnati Reds to really go for it at the trade deadline last year.
01:15 They didn't, but this is probably the team I am most excited
01:21 to watch play outside of the Dodgers in 2024.
01:24 I do love this team.
