00:55 I'm more of like the deal-breaker.

01:03 When I was given this role, I was nothing but happy.

01:15 Well, actually, they were kind of glad
01:17 because in First Lady and First Yaya,
01:20 they said I made it hard.
01:22 In my point of view, any role,
01:24 for them, they're just happy to see me well-dressed.
01:27 Like right now.
01:29 Because in First Lady, I'm always wearing a sandal,
01:33 a white shirt, and they're just really happy to see
01:36 that I'm being valued in my point of view.
01:42 And they were very happy for me
01:44 because I was very happy when I got the role.
01:46 They were just like, "I'm proud of you, son.
01:48 Do your best."
01:49 In First Lady and First Yaya,
01:51 Joaquin played the role of Jonas,
01:53 the opposite of the character of Kasilegaski, Nina.
01:56 Now that Joaquin is done with his high school roles,
01:59 he's ready to take on more serious roles.
02:02 It's like other artists in the world.
02:05 They're good, even if they're white,
02:07 even if they look like this,
02:08 or if they're gay,
02:09 they can still give roles that are difficult or whatever.
02:13 And for me, it's maybe like a learning curve.
