00:00 The Commission of Elections is very happy because the acceptance of mall owners and operators,
00:05 from SM Brothersong, Nehorn, Pulimbes, and other malls, especially in Maldonado and Visayas, is very hot.
00:12 The Commission of Elections is planning to invite our House of Representatives,
00:16 including our Senate, to petition the Common Act of voters' ID.
00:21 The Common Act stops the petitioning of voters' ID in 2015 due to budget shortage.
00:31 Of course, we need the budget.
00:32 We want to prioritize overseas Filipinos and then our fellow Filipinos.
00:37 The data on voters' ID is different.
00:42 The data on the PLCs and the National ID is different.
00:45 And therefore, our fellow Filipinos are really looking for voters' ID.
00:50 And lastly, one more part of your mind.
00:53 The reaction of the Common Act, as it matters,
00:56 the reaction of the Common Act to the President's request
00:59 that we should study whether we will follow or not the petitions of the Local Elections.
01:05 It is logical and practical to follow the National and Local Elections,
01:11 including the plebiscite.
01:12 Because if you separate a plebiscite,
01:15 the Common Act will need P13 billion to create a plebiscite.
01:20 Did you know that the Common Act also needs P25 billion
01:24 for the National and Local Elections of 2025?
01:26 Think about it.
01:27 If you have P25 billion and then there's additional P20 billion,
01:30 you will need a huge budget.
01:32 And then we still have the Barangay and SLA Elections in 2025.
