A Queensland police investigation is underway after the bodies of two people were found at a home in Brisbane's outer south-west.

00:00 Today, detectives from Acacia Ridge CIB are continuing to investigate the suspicious death
00:07 of two persons at a Dooland Dela address from last night.
00:13 I can confirm that last night at about 7pm, police were called to an address to do a welfare

00:19 When they arrived at that address, they located a deceased man and a deceased woman at the
00:24 address.
00:26 A crime scene was declared and the investigation has commenced.
00:31 I can confirm at the moment there's a crime scene examination still ongoing and during
00:38 this examination, I can also confirm the identity of those two people located deceased has not
00:44 been confirmed.
00:46 For that reason, I won't be commenting on those particular people until their identification
00:51 has been completed.
00:54 There was an indication as to the identity of those two people given last night.
00:59 That remains and we are asking anyone who may know of those people to come forward to
01:04 police to assist with the investigation.
01:07 During the investigation last night, police spoke to a number of people within the street.
01:12 We also identified two male persons who reside at the same address where the deceased were
01:16 located.
01:17 Those men are assisting police with our enquiries, but I can confirm they're not suspects.
01:24 We're not considering that they had any involvement in the death.
01:29 I can also confirm that we're not looking for any other person that may be involved
01:34 in this incident.
01:35 We are, however, continuing to ask anyone who may have knowledge and any information
01:41 that may have aggressed the investigation to come forward to police.
